Astana Expo-2017 is pleased to present the results of its student project. Unusual Marathon EXPO 2017, designed to draw the world's attention to the International specialized exhibition in Astana, was launched in October 2014. It invited Kazakh students studying in China, Great Britain, Hungary, USA, France, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Malaysia and the UAE to participate in a large-scale campaign.

Under the terms of the project, participants were required to incorporate their videos in the background of the EXPO 2017 flag into an invitation to the capital of Kazakhstan for the exhibition. Submitted videos in different languages against the backdrop of some of the most recognizable Kazakh landmarks were then installed in one video invitation for foreign visitors.

Joint Stock Company National Company «Astana EXPO-2017» created the post of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 15, 2013. The main activity of JSC National Company «Astana EXPO-2017» was the preparation and presentation of the International specialized exhibition.
International Specialized Exhibition EXPO will be held in Astana from June 10 to September 10, 2017. It is planned that it will be attended by 100 countries, at least 10 international organizations, 10 leading companies in innovative technologies. In general, about 5 million visits to exhibitions are expected and more than 2 million visitors.
