Welch Named Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® Affiliate Member of the Year

BOSTON, July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Michele Welch, home mortgage consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Andover, was named the recipient of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) Affiliate Member of the Year Award at the Annual Awards Breakfast held on June 14, at the Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley. Welch has been an Affiliate Member of GBAR since 2015, and has actively supported the Association in a variety of ways since then.

The Affiliate Member of the Year award was created to acknowledge the involvement of industry product and service providers for their active participation in GBAR programs and activities, and for their general support of the association, its mission, and the REALTOR® membership.

Having joined GBAR as an affiliate member last year, Welch's participation and impact at the association has been extensive. An ever-present face at association events, she is an active advocate for GBAR and often encourages those within her company to join as affiliate members. Welch has been an exhibitor at the GBAR Roadshow, new member orientation and has taken the initiative to connect with members and build new business connections. She routinely involves herself in events such as GBAR F.A.N. Nights, REALTOR® Day on the Hill and our Installation of Officers, showing continued support and participation. Additionally this year, Welch is serving on the GBAR Industry Affiliate Committee and Roadshow Task Force.
