Weimaraner "Gali" Wins Inaugural AKC Royal Canin National All-Breed Puppy And Junior Stakes
ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- GCH CH Unity's Maid an Entrance CGC, a Weimaraner known as "Gali" triumphed over more than 1,200 puppies and junior dogs to earn the title of AKC Royal Canin National All-Breed Junior of the Year, held today in Orlando, Fla. "Gali," owned by Michelle Hunter and Gregory McLogan and Amy L. Tourond of Springfield, Missouri and bred by Gregory McLogan, Vicki Ruiz and Amy L. Tourand was crowned "Junior of the Year" by an esteemed panel of judges, consisting of Mrs. Paula Hartinger, Mr. Roger R. Hartinger and Dr. Steve Keating, after intense canine competition.

Working: New History at Russian Bears, a Black Russian Terrier known as "Hayden," owned by Rachel J. Eken of Colorado Springs, Colorado and bred by N.V. Gorbunova.
Terrier: Louline Repercussion at Random, a Wire Fox Terrier known as "Boy Boy," owned by Geir Flyckt-Pedersen of Acampo, California and bred by Geir Flyckt-Pedersen.
Toy: Tamarin Titus, an Affenpinscher known as "Keko," owned by Doyle J. Girouard and Carol Girouard of Southlake, Texas and bred by Tamarin Kennels.
Non-Sporting: Hightide Tarquin Venus, a Standard Poodle known as "Venus," owned by Missy Ann Galloway and R. Corbin and C. Manelopoulos of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and bred by Missy Ann Galloway and R. Corbin and C. Manelopoulos.
Herding: Valle de Beraka Grand Guior, a Bearded Collie known as "Nevyn," owned by Carol and Jim Desmond and Maria Jose Carrillo of Mission Viejo, California and bred by Maria Jose Carrilo.
