Weight Loss Through Faith: 'Fighting Dieting Demons'
VISALIA, Calif., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Many people struggle with their weight. It seems that everywhere you look, there is another diet plan espousing a new method guaranteed to help you lose weight fast. In the second of her three-book series, "Fighting Dieting Demons: Journal" (published by AuthorHouse) author Sue Davis lays out a path for readers to follow involving focus, meditation, goals and faith.
"Fighting Diet Demons: Journal" is the second in a set of three books that gives readers insight into why diets fail. The journal is comprised of a short overview of a suggested eating plan, but no eating plan is promoted or discouraged. The purpose of "Fighting Diet Demons: Journal" is to help readers navigate through a healthy daily eating pattern. This is done by aiding readers in identifying what they are fighting against and, with the help of God and prayer, fend off the attacks of the devil. "The devil can attack whenever and wherever he gets a chance. He will attack all aspects of our lives and our self-image is a vulnerable target. The devil wants to see us discouraged and broken but with the help of prayer and Jesus in our life we can win that battle and overcome the diet demons," said Davis.
Fight those demons with a plan. A plan to exercise. Exercise is the last thing you want to think about, but it is not all bad. Find something you like to do. Take a walk, a bike ride. Get creative with your exercise. You can exercise while you sit down, while you are working, and even when you are lying in bed. Just try to include that in whatever program you choose.
Jesus walked thousands of miles in his lifetime. He obviously knew the benefit he would receive from walking. Try to follow in his footsteps. He set the example, the least we can do is follow that example.
