Weber Shandwick Promotes Chris Perry to President, Digital Communications
NEW YORK, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global public relations agencies, announced the promotion of Chris Perry to president, digital communications. In this new position, Perry will lead the firm's efforts to conceptualize and deliver strategic "inline" communications programs, while expanding the practice's innovative product, service and research offerings.
Perry has relocated to the firm's New York office and continues to report to Gail Heimann, vice chair, Weber Shandwick.

Perry, a 10-year veteran of Weber Shandwick, most recently was executive vice president, Digital Strategy and Operations and general manager of the firm's Los Angeles office. Prior to this, he worked in the Detroit office where he led a number of pioneering and industry-renowned new media campaigns as the client leader for General Motors.
He is a member of the Social Media Club Los Angeles, Word of Mouth Marketing Association and PRSA. Perry speaks frequently on the evolution of media and marketing strategy. He graduated from the University of Dayton, with a degree in marketing communications.
