Weber Shandwick Hires Bradford Williams to Lead North American Technology Practice

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global public relations firms, today announced Bradford Williams has joined the firm to lead the North American region of its Global Technology practice. Williams, who held a number of senior communications roles with leading global brands, will be based out of the firm's Sunnyvale office and report to Heidi Sinclair, president, Weber Shandwick's Global Technology practice.
Williams, with more than 25 years of technology and corporate communications experience, will lead the region's Technology practice, work with colleagues to support major client assignments and drive growth in North America.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Williams served as vice president of global communications at Groupon. Before that, he held similar global and senior communications positions for leading technology companies including eBay, Yahoo! and VeriSign where he led corporate and brand positioning, elevated the companies' industry and thought leadership profiles, served as a corporate spokesman, and counseled senior management through high-profile financial transactions and other corporate issues.
