Weber Shandwick Expands Expertise across Data & Analytics, Digital Content, Integrated Media and E-Commerce with Senior Hires

NEW YORK, Sept. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global communications and marketing services firms, announced today the creation of four new roles that help drive the agency's growth in key areas, including data & analytics, digital content & strategy, integrated media and e-commerce.
- Tanvir Hannan, formerly the head of conversations at Horizon Media, joins as executive vice president and global head of analytics operations;
- Award-winning business journalist and author Spencer Ante, joins as executive vice president of digital content and editorial strategy, serving as content lead for The X Practice across North America;
- Katie Krum, formerly of Under Armour, joins as senior vice president of integrated media strategy and digital lead for Weber Shandwick's South region (Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Dallas);
- Vince Koh, formerly of Iconix Brand Group, joins as senior vice president of commerce and conversion.
These senior hires will all be a part of The X Practice – Weber Shandwick's new agency model combining its innovation and technology-focused capabilities.

In his previous roles at Horizon Media and Publicis North America, Hannan introduced new research approaches with teams of market researchers, social analytics experts and data science practitioners to produce rich, data-driven consumer insights for brands. In his global role at Weber Shandwick, Hannan will work closely with senior leaders across the Analytics group to deepen and accelerate the use of advanced analytics throughout the agency's network.
Ante brings deep editorial and digital knowledge to his new role, having led reporting teams at The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and covered technology, business and finance for both TheStreet.com and Wired across a 20-year career. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president and editorial director at Edelman, providing strategic media counsel for a variety of clients. At Weber Shandwick, Ante will serve as the senior content lead for The X Practice, overseeing content strategy, creation and delivery of major cross-channel brand publishing efforts.
Across her 15-year career, Krum has driven digital marketing experiences for some of the world's biggest brands, developing digital strategies, creating online communities and executing innovative, results-driven campaigns. Krum most recently served as the senior director of content and engagement at Under Armour where she managed content and engagement across the UA Connected Fitness ecosystem, including MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun. Previously, she held similar roles at Marriott International and Nickelodeon. At Weber Shandwick, Krum will drive integrated client programs across paid, owned and earned media. She will also oversee Digital for Weber Shandwick's South region.
Koh brings diverse experience in direct-to-consumer retail, e-commerce and subscriptions services to Weber Shandwick. He most recently served as vice president of e-commerce at brand management company Iconix Brand Group, where he led digital-first strategies transforming traditional brands into modern, direct-to-consumer operations. Koh also previously led strategy, merchandising and operations for digital commerce startups Fab.com and Keaton Row. Earlier in his career, he held buying and merchandising positions for Barneys New York and Longchamp. Koh's primary area of focus at Weber Shandwick will be expanding the firm's capabilities in content-to-commerce programs, with a particular emphasis on the digital commerce space.
