Award categories are expanded in 2018 to include new areas of technology and product innovation
For the first time, awards also will be presented recognizing individual RIA firm leaders
NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WealthManagement.com, the leading digital resource for wealth advisors, has issued a call for nominations for the 2018 Industry Awards. Now in its fourth year, the annual Industry Awards is the only program of its kind to honor outstanding achievements by companies and organizations that support financial advisor success.
Last year, a record number of nominations were submitted—nearly 500 entries were received from more than 300 companies. Nominations for the 2018 Industry Awards close on April 10, and finalists will be announced on May 25. Winners will be recognized at a black-tie ceremony at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on September 13.
The 2018 Industry Awards program has been expanded to include more awards categories – including model marketplaces, alternative investment platforms, blockchain/cryptocurrency and industry research providers. Awards also will be presented for the first time recognizing individual RIA firm leaders — including CEO of the year, innovator of the year, M&A leader of the year and thought leader of the year. A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry will determine the 2018 award winners. Winners are judged based on quantitative measures of their initiatives—such as scope, scale, adoption and feature set—along with qualitative measures such as innovation, creativity and new methods of delivery.
