SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 12, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The We Stand With Seniors… Will You? campaign, supported by West Health and The SCAN Foundation, is calling attention to an error in this afternoon's press release issued by the John Cox Campaign. While we appreciate the acknowledgment that our debate is under consideration, we must correct an error in the description. We Stand With Seniors is partnering with KGTV ABC10 for a debate in San Diego, not PBS as reported by the campaign.
This debate, to be broadcast statewide in late-September, will cover the critical issues affecting all Californians as well as the challenges our most vulnerable population face every day. Seniors make up more than half of likely voters, yet are largely ignored in political and policy discussions. This is the time for all Californians to come together on an issue that everyone cares about – the generation who raised us.
We look forward to working with both gubernatorial campaigns to schedule this debate.
