COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WBNS-10TV President and General Manager John Cardenas has announced the appointment of Ashlee Baracy, who will join Central Ohio's number one weather team led by Chief Meteorologist Chris Bradley, Mike Davis and Josh Poland.
Ashlee will serve as weekend meteorologist, supporting the news and weather team throughout the week for 10TV.
"Ashlee brings a diverse skillset that will reaffirm the high standards WBNS is known for. Coupled with Central Ohio's only live radar, Ashlee's talents will provide our community with the most accurate forecast on all screens," Cardenas said.
Ashlee joins 10TV from WDIV in Detroit, where she served as traffic reporter.
In 2008, Ashlee won the title of Miss Michigan, and went on to become a top ten finalist in the Miss America pageant a year later.
Ashlee is a graduate of the University of Michigan. From there, she went on to earn her Masters of Science from Eastern Michigan University. Ashlee received her certification in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.
Ashlee's first day will be October 1st.
