Waypoint Expands with Four Senior Consultants

DALLAS, July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Waypoint Consulting Services, the Dallas-based firm active in the financial services, healthcare, and energy sectors, announced the hiring of four senior consultants, all seasoned practitioners with multiple areas of expertise.  They are Jim Baubie III, Dr. Ron Papa, Cindi Pacanins, Vinny Velayudhan.

Jim Baubie III, with more than 25 years of experience aligning business/technology strategies, was most recently Comerica Bank's SVP and Divisional CIO of Enterprise Technology Strategy and Corporate Functions, where he led initiatives on regulatory compliance, global sourcing, corporate governance, vendor management, and M&A.  He holds an MBA in IT/Healthcare Management and a BS magna cum laude in MIS.

Dr. Ron Papa has managed a variety of risk management, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, vendor management, and statistical analysis projects in multiple industries, including automotive and financial services.  He is an adjunct college professor and president-elect of the Great Lakes PMI Chapter, and holds a PhD and post-Masters Certificate in MIS and an MBA in Finance.

Cindi Pacanins manages large-scale strategic business and technology initiatives in many sectors, utilizing IT and business frameworks.  Most recently she advised the office of the CEO of a large international retail organization on strategic initiatives to support a world class co-prosperity Franchise System.  She was VP of Finance for the Dallas Chapter of PMI and holds a BS in Decision and Information Science.

Vinny Velayudhan has a successful track record of building and managing successful operational support teams around the world.  He has worked with a variety of industries including healthcare and financial services and was most recently Senior Manager at Dell, responsible for endpoint security, compliance, lifecycle management and more.  He studied electrical engineering at SUNY Stony Brook.
