Waynesburg University student athletes among the highest achieving in the Presidents' Athletic Conference

WAYNESBURG, Pa., Feb. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2014 semester revealed that Waynesburg ranked second among the 10 full-time and two affiliate institutions for the fall semester.

The conference honored 456 total student-athletes with 56 honorees from Waynesburg University being listed. Of the 56 student athletes honored, all of the seven varsity fall sports offered at Waynesburg were represented.  

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average of 3.60 or higher during their semester of competition.

The second place ranking in the PAC Academic Honor Roll is not the only recognition that Waynesburg University student athletes have recently received.

The Waynesburg University men's and women's track & field teams also received both regional and national attention from d3rankings.us.

The Yellow Jacket men and women were named the number-three teams in the Mideast Regional dual meet listings, and the number-one teams in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

Both squads also received the number-23 spot in their respective national indoor dual meet rankings.
