Wavien Demonstrates New Products Using RLT™ Technology at LDI Show Las Vegas-November 22-24
VALENCIA, Calif., Nov. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Wavien, Inc. will be demonstrating new products and concept prototypes using several variations of the patented RLT™ recycling LED technology at the LDI Show in Las Vegas, November 22-24 at booth # 320. With an eye on promoting Wavien's quickly growing online store (www.wavien.com/SHOP), LDI is the perfect venue to showcase the latest technology improvements from Wavien.
Included for demonstration at the booth will be a new line of "TruSpot™" PAR lamps with a crisp hard edge and outstanding uniformity across the beam as well as an exciting variation - the "TruSpot" GOBO PAR. This simple RLT based GOBO PAR is backwardly compatible to standard track lighting rails operating at 120/240 Volts. Wavien is also introducing an advanced RLT "Ultra-Narrow" spot light that has a beam distance that is 5 times the leading competitor, using a simple LED design.
"We see a new opportunity for entertainment and architectural lighting now, that has not been available before", stated Dr. Kenneth Li, the inventor of RLT and the President and CEO of Wavien. "Now there is a low cost, highly reliable way to wash long length walls on buildings as well as incredibly precise and uniform spot lights for stage and entertainment." Li also pointed out. "The unique approach of the RLT reflector makes for an extremely clean and narrow beam with outstanding brightness and the removal of lighting artifacts normally found on today's standard lighting systems."
RLT is adaptable to various types and brands of LEDs, and allows for most of the traditional components in standard products to remain the same, keeping costs of implementation low. Wavien, has been, and is a technology development and licensing company, however, with the opening of the Wavien SHOP, now there are many more options for obtaining the RLT technology.
"RLT is Wavien's Recycling Light Technology, a compact, low-cost, passive component technology that significantly increases by many times, the useable light output of standard LEDs, by collecting high angle LED generated light, that would be wasted in conventional illumination systems, and redirecting it into a more compact, useful, and brighter beam. The usable LED light output is significantly boosted by the RLT reflector with no additional LED input power required and no change in LED lifetime," stated Dr. Kenneth Li. "Wavien is very pleased that RTL technology is able to offer a significant jump in brightness for LED platforms at a much lower cost, and simplicity in design."
