Watkins Survey for 2011 Ranks UGL Services as the #1 Most Recommended Corporate Real Estate Firm Among all 23 Companies Evaluated
CHICAGO, May 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UGL Services, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL) ("UGL"), today announced the findings of the 2011 customer satisfaction survey of over 200 key corporate real estate executives and decision makers conducted by the Watkins Research Group of Kansas City, MO. The bi-annual survey is considered to be the commercial real estate industry standard for the benchmarking of overall performance of the largest service provider firms in the nation.
The Watkins Group rated UGL Services as the Number #1 Tenant Representation firm, and most highly recommended service provider among 23 corporate real estate services firms – a select group that also included Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), CB Richard Ellis and Cushman & Wakefield, who were evaluated in 10 different business-to-business client satisfaction categories.
Between February-March of 2011, Watkins surveyed 53 Fortune 500 firms; 46 Financial Times Global 500 firms; 112 publically traded companies, 70 privately-held firms and 9 government agencies. The current report is benchmarked against their 2009 survey.
In a widely recognized indicator of loyalty called the Client Advocate Score (CAS), the survey participants were asked a simple, yet very important question: "How likely are you to recommend UGL Services to a company or a friend?" Based on the results of this question, UGL Services was ranked #1 across all 23 service providers. This top ranking is consistent with other data in the survey that show how highly regarded we are as a provider.
Summarizing the key evaluations:
- When deciding to hire a new service provider, UGL Services was ranked in the top quartile in all 10 selection criteria.
- UGL Services was ranked the #1 service provider in four of the 10 selection attributes (several of these attributes are of "top" importance).
- UGL Services achieved the greatest improvement in position on the overall Perceptual Map (2011 survey vs. 2009 survey).
- For the second time in four years, UGL Services was ranked #1 among all Tenant Representation firms (as in 2009) and #2 overall.
The Survey is viewed as the industry standard for gauging the motivation for hiring a CRE firm, and the level of performance satisfaction of public and privately held corporations, government entities and Small/Med, and Large Cap organizations with the providers of CRE services.
The survey respondents indicated that UGL Services adapts its services to fit the specific needs of its clients and was ranked in the top quartile, and #1 overall. These rankings reflect strong consistency in the quality of its service to both Small/Med Cap and Large Cap companies UGL Services represents.
