Watercrest Chief Experience Officer Hollie Kemp Named as a 2019 Argentum Senior Living Leader Under 40
VERO BEACH, Fla., April 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Watercrest Senior Living Group proudly announces that Hollie Kemp, Watercrest's Chief Experience Officer, has been selected as a 2019 Argentum Senior Living Leader under 40.
The distinguished award recognizes emerging visionaries leading and implementing programs to advance senior living initiatives; working to advance meaningful public policy on behalf of senior living providers; taking opportunities to educate the public on the 'heart' of senior living; and having involvement with science or academia advancing the gerontological field.
Nationally recognized for her work in Alzheimer's and dementia care programming, this is Kemp's second Argentum award for excellence in her field. In 2017, Kemp received the Best of the Best award for the creation of 'an innovative (memory care) program which works to improve the future of senior living.'
In 2018, Watercrest principals, Marc Vorkapich, CEO, and Joan Williams, CFO sought to bolster their exclusive memory care program with a unique leader specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care. Kemp joined the Watercrest leadership team as VP of Dementia Services and Programming, leading the memory care training and programming for the multiple brands of senior living communities developed, owned and operated by Watercrest Senior Living Group.
Within six-months, Kemp's significant impact led to her promotion as Chief Experience Officer of Watercrest, expanding her role over dementia services and programming to encompass all associate and resident experiences, including human resources onboarding, training, and development.
Kemp focuses on disrupting the norm, pushing boundaries and seeing possibility over limitation, while striving to use her God-given talents to better the lives of those served.
"There is not a day that goes by that I am not grateful for the platform I've been given to make a difference," adds Kemp. "I consider my work an honor, a privilege, and while I am humbled and grateful for the Argentum award, the true reward is in the moments when I see hope, joy, and fulfillment in a senior I serve. I am one of the fortunate ones that can honestly say I love what I do, and I am eternally grateful to get to do it."
As an award recipient, Kemp will be featured in the 2019 March/April issue of Senior Living Executive magazine and recognized at Argentum's Senior Living Executive Conference April 15th-17th in San Antonio, Texas.
