LAKEWOOD, Calif., Nov. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Monday, November 10, 2014, the Water Replenishment District of Southern California will host a delegation of water leaders from the Republic of Korea (South Korea). WRD staff will present the District's Water Independence Now program, which encapsulates state of the art groundwater replenishment, groundwater monitoring, recycled water use, seawater intrusion barriers, and much more. The visit will also include a tour of WRD and other local water facilities.

The Korean Groundwater Monitoring and technical staff are visiting California to engage groundwater professionals on best practices in groundwater monitoring and for enhancing protections of groundwater basins.
