Water Cooler Group Announces First Ever CEO Appointment

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Water Cooler Group, an integrated marketing services company, today named Christina Norman to the newly created role of CEO overseeing all creative and business operations for its  offerings in media, social/digital, advanced analytics and creative delivered through its divisions  Media Storm, 3Degrees, Juba Plus and Maude.  In this role, Ms. Norman will lead the company's growth strategy, bringing experience as an accomplished brand builder and content creator. A veteran media executive who has led iconic brands VH1, MTV and OWN, Christina most recently served as head of her own company, Gemini Entertainment, providing strategic insights to media companies and producing original multi platform content.

Previously, Christina was CEO of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, managing creative, strategy and operations for the network and leading the team through its January 2011 launch. Christina came to OWN from Viacom Media Networks, where she spent 17 years leading some of the world's biggest media brands. As President of MTV she provided leadership, strategy and management for MTV, MTV2, mtvU, and mtv.com and lead the launch of MTV Tr3. During her tenure as President of VH1, she garnered widespread praise for rejuvenating the brand, helming a diverse programming slate and leading the network to record viewership levels. Prior to that, she served in a variety of creative positions at MTV, rising through the network's On-Air promotion department to head all Marketing and On-Air Promotion, spearheading all marketing and brand identity for the MTV suite of channels, and promotion for all MTV series and tentpole events.
