ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ARC announced today that the Washington Business Journal named it as one of the Washington, D.C. metro region's healthiest employers in a region-wide competition held in collaboration with Healthiest Employer LLC. The publication's award, which was presented last week, was based on the aggregate of 27 different employer-provided company benefits that promote a healthy lifestyle. ARC placed fifth in a field of 25 entrants in the 100-499 employees category.

Among the wellness programs offered to ARC employees are annual biometric screenings and health risk assessments, wellness seminars, access to dietitians and personal trainers, as well as incentives for meeting health goals.
