Was the Bible and Religion Really Formed to Control and Suppress Humanity to Bring Forth the One World Government?
NEW YORK, Sept. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- "Forgotten Word," the popular but controversial Christian thriller by Sam Jane Brown, offers unique insights into resolving the question of whether or not a looming "One World" government is actually prophesized in the Bible. The topic has created significant dispute amongst Christian thinkers. But, the question remains: Does the Bible foretell the rise of a "World Government" based on a single World Religion?

"As with any prophecy, you can either believe it or not," said Brown. "However, with what's going on in the world today, it would be foolish to ignore the warning signs of a vast shift in the way the world is run. The book provides a fun way to learn about what is really happening today." Brown asks the question, was the bible and religion really formed to control the masses to install fear into mankind for control?
The book's story includes references to the accepted elements of the One World theory: Satan, a possible Antichrist and a false prophet. "This maps to today quite clearly," Brown added. One fifth of Republicans believe that Obama is the Antichrist. Suspicions about Satanic powers secretly controlling the world have long been held by leading Christian theologians. For example, the televangelist Pat Robertson wrote in The New World Order, his bestseller, that Wall Street, the Federal Reserve System, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission are in total control of events behind the scenes. According to Robertson, this group is constantly doing Satan's work and covertly pushing toward a world government.
The Pope has been accused of being the "False Prophet" inherent in the One World conspiracy theory. According to many observers, the Pope's early request for all religions to join together as one is in line with the prophecy that there will be just a single world religion as the end of times approaches. Many established Christian leaders disagree, of course, but the mystery remains.
Biblical references to a single World Government include Revelation 13:2, which reads, "We will all feel the oppression of this world government structure because it is satanically inspired, and it is forming right now." And, Revelation 13:7 describes how power will be given to the Antichrist over "all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." Verse three states, "And all the world wondered after the beast." Daniel 7:23 expresses a view of an Antichrist-controlled world government, saying, "The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces."
"Forgotten Word" is set in a world of high church intrigue. The story starts with the murders of Catholic priests. Solving the murders offers glimpses of Second Coming. The protagonist, Zena McGrath, an international detective, meets a mysterious priest in the Vatican during her investigation. Following the trail to New York, she becomes aware of an evil presence following her. She finally goes to the Holy Land as the perpetrators of the crime are revealed. The book offers a surprise in a climactic ending.
"Forgotten Word" deals with the intersection of religion and power. The major figures of today, from Vladimir Putin to Barack Obama, can be seen as symbols of the story foretold in the prophecies. Readers have praised "Forgotten Word" not only as an engaging mystery that is also a thought-provoking read. The book has raised angry denouncements from certain religious voices.
