Events, social media promotions planned for first U.S. races in Miami and Long Beach
CINCINNATI, Ohio, Jan. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Warsteiner, the Official Team Partner of the Audi Sport ABT Formula E team, will energize U.S. fans this spring through special events and social media promotions as the racing series makes its U.S. debut in Miami, FL (March 14) and Long Beach, CA (April 4).
Formula E, a new FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric racing series, blends technological trailblazing and motorsport passion with environmental sustainability. In its inaugural season, 10 teams of two drivers go head-to-head in the world's leading cities to create a unique racing experience designed to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans.

With five titles to its credit in the DTM alone, Abt Sportsline (competing under Audi Sport ABT) is one of the most successful German teams in GT and endurance racing. Led by Team Principal Hans-Jürgen Abt, the owner-operated team includes 21-year-old Daniel Abt, son of Hans-Jürgen, and racing veteran Lucas di Grassi.
