Warren Sulmasy makes a Donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®
Sulmasy Proudly makes a Commitment to Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer
NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- As a way to give thanks that his wife, daughters, sister and mother are healthy, Warren Sulmasy made a conscience decision to make a donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in February 2013 to join the fight against breast cancer.
"As a father of two precious daughters, a husband of a glorious woman, a son of a beautiful mother and brother of a wonderful sister, I felt compelled to contribute to a cause committed to fighting a disease that affects mostly women - breast cancer," said Sulmasy.
Since 1982, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has played a significant role in the fight against breast cancer by raising funds and through education. The organization has raised a significant amount of funds to further breast cancer research and discover new treatments.
They have been successful in educating women to get yearly mammograms to promote early detection and effective treatment. The organization has given hope to those who thought they would not otherwise have a chance to beat the disease.
"Susan G Komen for the Cure has done such an amazing job in raising funds for breast cancer cures and world awareness. We all hope through efforts like Susan G Koman for the Cure, we can, not only assist in helping more women survive cancer, but take it all the way to finally eliminate breast cancer in women forever," said Sulmasy.
