Warm Up To Winter In Minneapolis
Meet Minneapolis Announces Tourism Sweepstakes on Go.Minneapolis.Org
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A winter vacation to Minneapolis? Of course! The year-round mission of Meet Minneapolis is to market, sell and maximize the visitor experience of Minneapolis for the economic benefit of the community. In an effort to promote all to see and do in town this season, Meet Minneapolis launched its third annual "Go Minneapolis Getaway" Sweepstakes.
Meet Minneapolis is giving the public the chance to win a three-year lease for an energy-efficient 2015 Chevy Volt, donated by Select Heartland Chevy Dealers. The popular Chevy Volt, an electric car that also runs on gas, is currently on display at the Minneapolis Convention Center on the first floor lobby near the Ballroom.
In addition to the Grand Prize Chevy Volt, the seven-week online sweepstakes features prize packages that will be awarded on a weekly basis. Each package will include a stay at a Meet Minneapolis member hotel, a tasty meal at Ling & Louie's and two tickets to the Minnesota Orchestra.
The sweepstakes, aimed at potential visitors living in the 400-mile radius from Minneapolis, will be hosted on Go.Minneapolis.org.
Twenty grand prize finalists will be randomly selected from all online and mail-in entries collected today through February 23, 2015. Each will be asked to attend a ceremony the morning of March 7 at the Twin Cities Auto Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The winner will be awarded at a high-voltage event on the Auto Show floor.
Official rules on how to enter the "Go Minneapolis Getaway" Sweepstakes, information on the Chevy Volt and prize packages, as well as great hotel, restaurant and attraction deals are all available on Go.Minneapolis.org. No purchase necessary to win. Entrants must reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Online entrants may submit one contest entry per day, each day of the seven weeks.
