Wanderport Tenders Request for Quotation to Laboratories to Seek Manufacturing Safety Standards for its Innovative Microwave Energy Tank-less Water Heater
NEW YORK, May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wanderport Corp. (OTC Markets-PINKSHEETS: WDRP) announced today that it has tendered a request for quotation (RFQ) to laboratories with the intention of submitting its prototype or single cavity microwave heating unit (SCMHU) for laboratory safety testing.
Considering the SCMHU's unique characteristics and its favorable operating results thus far, Wanderport issued the RFQ to top and internationally recognized testing laboratories to proactively obtain compulsory, approved safety codes from an accredited laboratory to accelerate the process and knowledge base for the SCMHU as the company moves closer to commercialization.
Due to the materials, construction, complexity and more importantly, the size of various components which are now significantly smaller, the company has been working on some of the mechanical design aspects which have resulted in an extremely compact yet powerful unit. By selecting and collaborating with a major testing laboratory as well as continuing advancement with existing engineering partners, Wanderport will better understand and comply with what is required for the company to move the product from the laboratory to the retail shelf in the shortest possible timeframe.
"We are fully aware of shareholder's expectations to provide a reasonable timeline for a first production run. Therefore, we sought to reduce any foreseeable delay toward future revenues and legitimate fundamentals for the company by wasting no time in issuing this RFQ in the hopes of concluding a deal with a leading laboratory on or before June 3rd, 2011," commented Richard Martel, Wanderport's President and CEO.
Subsequent to laboratory selection and their completed safety analysis, Wanderport will be better positioned to assign a unit corresponding to industry performance safety norms and reduces the probability of being stunned by unexpected safety requirements owing to the unit's unique characteristics. The hope is that there will be less "red tape" for manufacturing partners when meeting dealer demands and lead time for the marketable product.
"We are using the same successful methodology as we have used in the past by calling upon external expertise to help facilitate and accelerate the process. We've already incorporated some key safety features into the SCMHU however safety testing is a mandatory requirement and we believe that by choosing an appropriate lab, we will be able to fully comprehend and implement additional essentials as required," stated Mr. Robert Simoneau, Wanderport's Technical Advisor and product Licensor.
