Wanderport Short Lists Laboratories for Industry Safety Standard Trials
NEW YORK, May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wanderport Corp. (OTC Markets-PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced that it has short listed three laboratories with the intention of submitting its prototype or single cavity microwave heating unit (SCMHU) for laboratory safety testing.
Following Wanderport's tender for a request for quotation (RFQ) (released on May 19, 2011), the company has successfully short listed three accredited laboratories located in Canada and the United States to obtain compulsory safety approval for the SCMHU. This safety analysis will increase Wanderport's knowledge base and accelerate the process onward to commercialization.
Similar to choosing an engineering firm, Wanderport's preference for American or Canadian Laboratory rather than Asian laboratory is primarily based on proximity and scope of testing, as well as the ability to qualify for government research and development programs in either country.
After a thorough safety analysis is concluded by the laboratory, Wanderport will possess a list of compulsory certifiable industry safety standards, over and above specifically characterized safety norms required by the nature and uniqueness of the product's microwave or radio frequency technology.
"To simplify things, the rationale here is that once an agreement is concluded on or prior to June 3rd, 2011, we will provide our SCMHU to the chosen laboratory. They will, in turn, provide us with safety recommendations and approval criteria, which our team of engineers will immediately apply to the assembly of our pre-production, 'on demand', multi-cavity MHU destined for the manufacturer," said Richard Martel, President and CEO of Wanderport Corporation. "We definitely are on to something very special and possibly very lucrative based on early test trials. Third party safety testing is further evidence of our prototype's positive testing results and an unrelenting commitment to getting a finished product to our distributors globally."
