Wanderport and Design 1st Inc. Agree to a New Mandate
NEW YORK, June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wanderport Corp. (OTC Markets-PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced the approval of a new and expanded commitment with Design 1st Inc.
Building upon the successful completion and testing of the single cavity microwave energy tank-less water heater (SCMHU), Wanderport and Design 1st Inc. have agreed to a new mandate for the production of the "point of use" multi cavity microwave energy tank-less water heater (MCMHU).
The MCMHU will be a more powerful SCMHU incorporating an improved heat exchanger and the latest UL® safety recommendations forming the basis of Wanderport's anticipated commercial product. This "level one" MCMHU will employ four heat exchange chambers and is intended to be used in a residential "single point of use" application such as an individual kitchen or bathroom. The company's intention is to move beyond the lab and into residential beta tests with this unit. Design 1st Inc. has begun working towards the MCMHU and presently do not foresee a lengthy production process.
"We've enjoyed our successful relationship with Mr. Robert Simoneau, Wanderport Corporation's Technical Advisor and Product Licensor. Recent results give good reason for our new mandate, which allows us to advance from the SCMHU to the MCMHU. Moreover, we look forward to a long term relationship with Mr. Simoneau and Wanderport, as well as eventually designing their entire product line," said Ian Kayser, Director of Operations at Design 1st Inc.
"Robert's steadfast effort and collaboration with Design 1st Inc. have unquestionably contributed to a swift, systematic approach and I am of the opinion that Wanderport will continue to benefit from this relationship towards completion of a marketable product within a very reasonable timeframe," stated Mr. Richard Martel, President and CEO of Wanderport Corporation.
