Walsh College Tax Program Ranks 7th in Nation by MST Alumni
Ranks 14th in the survey of Tax Hiring Authorities
TROY, Mich., Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Walsh College Master of Science in Taxation (MST) degree was ranked 7th in the U.S. by MST alumni and 14th by tax professionals, according to a recent survey by JobsInTax.com, part of the TaxTalent network, the largest online support organization for tax professionals.
Master of Science in Taxation alumni ranked Walsh College in the top 11 percent of 65 schools, and hiring professionals placed Walsh in the top 25 percent of 60 MST programs. TaxTalent's 2012 survey recognized the top-rated Master's in Tax programs in the United States, based on the separate survey responses of 151 corporate tax department leaders and 176 MST alumni. The two surveys provide a directory of schools held in high regard by both alumni and tax hiring authorities for their MST program.

Currently, the portal provides Michigan-specific tax-related cases, laws and statutes, and will continue to expand to include the remaining states and major U.S. and worldwide municipal tax authorities.
