Mr. Redmond will focus on financing all types of income producing properties including office, apartments, hotels, industrial and retail in the mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Redmond was managing director of Penrose Financial Services, the mortgage banking arm of The Penrose Group, a developer, owner and investor in commercial real estate. Prior to Penrose, he was a partner and founder of Purcell Capital. Prior to Purcell Capital, Mr. Redmond was a vice president at Smith Barney Inc. and director of multifamily structured transactions at Freddie Mac.
Mr. Redmond is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association and holds a bachelor's degree from Cortland College and a diploma in real estate investment and analysis from New York University.
