The partnerships will support increased access to master's degree programs and professional development opportunities for educators and help teachers make a direct impact both in and out of the classroom.

Teachers, administrators and staff members of the partner districts and school systems will have the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree online in Walden's Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership. Walden's new education partners are:
Cecil County Public School System — The Cecil County Public School System serves the residents of Cecil County, Md. The county system comprises 17 elementary schools, six middle schools, five high schools and three specialized training schools.
Colleton County School District — The Colleton County School District is located in South Carolina's low country and serves nearly 6,000 students. The district comprises six elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, one career and technology center, one alternative education program and one early childhood center.
Howard County Public School System — The Howard County Public School System serves the residents of Howard County, Md. The public school system is composed of 40 elementary schools, 19 middle schools, 12 high schools and three education centers.
Val Verde Unified School District — The Val Verde Unified School District is in the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, Calif. metropolitan area. The district serves 19,571 K–12 students and is composed of one preschool, 12 elementary schools, five middle schools and four high schools.
These new partnerships join the growing contingent of hospitals, healthcare systems, nonprofits, business and education organizations and institutions that have aligned with Walden to provide education opportunities to their employees. Walden previously announced partnerships with the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) and Education Service Centers (ESC), Regions 1, 2, 18 and 20 in Texas.
