TORONTO, May 7, 2015 /CNW/ - Wajax Corporation ("Wajax" or the "Corporation") today announced that the nominees listed in the Corporation's management proxy circular dated March 3, 2015 were elected as directors of Wajax. The detailed results of the vote for the election of directors held at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Corporation held on May 5, 2015 in Toronto are set out below.
On a vote conducted by ballot, each of the following ten nominees proposed by management was elected as a director of Wajax:

James D. Hole, a director of the Corporation since 2006, retired from the board at the conclusion of the meeting. Sylvia D. Chrominska is new to the board of the Corporation. Ms. Chrominska has over thirty years of experience as a senior executive in the banking sector, and was previously Group Head, Global Human Resources and Communications at The Bank of Nova Scotia, where she had global responsibility for human resources, corporate communications, government relations, public policy and corporate social responsibility. She currently serves on the board of Emera Incorporated and is the Chair of Scotia Group Jamaica Limited. Ms. Chrominska holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and serves on the Dean's Advisory Board at the Richard Ivey School of Business. She has also received an honourary Doctor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario.
