Wagstaffs Scoops Double Win at the Digital Impact Awards 2015
LONDON, October 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Wagstaffs' excellence in digital design was recognised at last night's Digital Impact Awards.
The integrated communications agency won both the gold and silver awards in the 'best use of digital in property' category, firmly establishing Wagstaffs' position as an innovator in the world of property marketing.
The awards
The gold award was presented to Wagstaffs for its 'Stand Out' augmented reality app for client Hilson Moran.
The app allows users to explore the world of 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) and helped overcome Hilson Moran's continuous marketing challenge - the fact that its prestigious work in London high rise-real estate is hidden from view.
With 'Stand Out' the augmented reality helps illustrate what goes on behind the façade of a building and the internal workings of a tower in an augmented reality environment , an absolute first, using both 2D overlays and 3D geometry.
The 'Stand Out' app sits on the App Store alongside Wagstaffs' VUITNOW sales and marketing tool, a pioneering digital tool to provide a fully interactive experience for home buyers, which also won Wagstaffs a silver at the awards.
VUITNOW was successfully used by Taylor Wimpey to help market its Chobham Manor residential site at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The property company wanted a leading-edge technology innovation which would help it market the site and VUITNOW provides a fully interactive, real time experience for potential buyers to experience the site and see their chosen homes (inside and out) before those homes are built and try before they buy.
Leaders in digital
Jason Hawthorne, Managing Director of Wagstaffs says: "We have been excited by what we have been able to achieve digitally for our property clients, so to be recognised for our work with both a gold and silver awards, shows we are leaders in the use of digital in the property marketing field."
Brittany Golob, Editor of Communicate Magazine, adds: "Digital plays a role in almost every communications campaign, but it is those that are pushing their limitations in the digital sphere, breaking down barriers and driving innovation that the Digital Impact Awards celebrate.
"Each year we recognise new achievements and see the industry overcome new challenges. This year's winners used digital to disrupt traditional communication platforms, changed the way the corporate website is perceived, made political change through digital communications, reached new audiences and new markets."
