LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wag!, the inventor of on-demand dog walking, has named Celia Poon as chief financial officer and Craig Gatarz as executive vice president and general counsel effective October 29, 2018.
Poon and Gatarz will report to Wag! CEO Hilary Schneider who said, "I'm delighted to partner with these energetic and capable leaders to help us achieve our next phase of growth. Celia and Craig bring valuable experience to our team, and I look forward to working with them as we execute our mission of creating a more joyful world for dogs and those who love them."
Poon, who has more than 24 years of experience in finance, has a strong track record in strategic and financial planning, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets for tech companies. Most recently, she served as CFO of Highfive and has also held senior financial leadership roles at Twitter, Yahoo! and Zynga. She started her career at Price Waterhouse Management Consulting and JPMorgan. Poon has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley and a BA in economics from the University of California Los Angeles.

Gatarz brings more than 25 years of legal experience from law firms and high-growth industries, including mobile, digital media/entertainment, and consumer products. He joins Wag! from The Honest Company where he was executive vice president and general counsel. Previously, he held senior positions at RealD, Vuclip, and JAMDAT Mobile. Gatarz has a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA in political science from Boston College.
