NORCROSS, Ga., Jan. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Waffle House® restaurants and pro golfer Brooke Pancake are kicking off the 2016 LPGA season with a charity auction benefitting Siskin Children's Institute of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Auction items include Brooke's 2015 Waffle House themed golf bags plus a round of golf for the winner and two guests with Brooke. Fans can begin bidding today, January 26th with the winning bids determined on Tuesday, February 16th.
"We are looking forward to the second year of our partnership with Brooke," says Waffle House President and CEO Walt Ehmer. "The energy she brings to her game, and the desire she has to help others makes her a great addition to the Waffle House family."
All proceeds from the auction benefit Siskin Children's Institute. Siskin Children's Institute achieves its mission through education, pediatric healthcare services, home & community-based programs and outreach services in the field of developmental disabilities. Brooke reconnected with Siskin through her partnership with PlayCore of Chattanooga, a manufacturer of play and recreation equipment that has created inclusive play and recreation spaces for facilities throughout the world, including the Siskin Institute.
"I have grown up witnessing the amazing love, care, and support that Siskin has provided to special needs children and their families," says Pancake. "I have such a passion for kids and feel so blessed to have a platform through golf to bring recognition for the great things Siskin is doing. To be able to work with two of my sponsors, Waffle House and PlayCore, in this endeavor makes it that much more special."
