VANCOUVER, Wash., Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Wacom®'s Intuos Manga pen and touch tablet ($99 USD), now available at Amazon and Wacom's eStore in the United States and Amazon Canada and Canada Computers' retail outlets across Canada starting November 1, combines Wacom's renowned pressure-sensitive pen technology with multi-touch gesture support for a natural and comfortable digital workflow that feels like traditional brushes and pencils. Intuos Manga owners will appreciate the access to free downloadable versions of Smith Micro®'s creative software applications - Manga Studio™ Debut 4 and Anime Studio® Debut 8.

Manga Studio offers a wealth of tools to create fun and engaging comic art including an integrated color palette, advanced shading options and over 2,300 professional-quality halftones to make any Manga or comic drawing pop. Anime Studio, a 2D animation application, lets artists bring their characters to life with realistic movements. The user-friendly software simplifies animation tasks with its intuitive timeline feature and vector-based functionality. Additionally, Anime Studio works in tandem with the Intuos Manga's multi-touch gesture capabilities, allowing artists to involve their non-dominant hand with scrolling and zooming.
