Communication Cure
For doctors, dentists and nursing staff who handwrite electronic medical records and prefer to draw and annotate on radiographic images to explain a surgical procedure or highlight a specific point of interest, the DTH-2242's direct pen-on-screen input allows them to interact and communicate more effectively with their patients as well as other medical personnel. During discussions with patients or medical colleagues, healthcare professionals can quickly add notes or draw pictures to make their explanations more impactful and easier to understand. Multi-touch gesture support provides simple and fast scrolling through record charts and the ability to zoom-in on images helps support the overall communication process.
Powerful Presentations Made Easy
The DTH-2242 gives presenters, from a university professor lecturing to a large group of students to a trainer presenting in front of corporate clients, a valuable set of tools that allow them to engage their audience through the use of handwritten notes, annotations and drawings. For example, a math professor could write-out and solve equations in front of his/her students in order to provide important visuals, a key component to the learning process. Presenters using Microsoft® PowerPoint® will also appreciate the pen and touch capabilities of the DTH-2242. Specific points that need to be emphasized within a presentation can be circled in digital ink or notes can be added with the Wacom pen for effect. Standard and custom touch gestures can be used to make navigation within presentations fast and natural. And since the presenter is facing the audience when working from the DTH-2242, unlike a traditional blackboard setting, a greater connection is created with the audience which promotes a better environment for learning.
