TOKYO, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective April 1st, Wacom's operations, which have been managed on a regional basis, will be re-grouped into global business units (BU) according to user categories, with an objective to address market needs more quickly and with greater flexibility while accelerating further business growth. To execute each organization's missions effectively, Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) will be assigned to respective business units, replacing the current executive officer system.
Under the new global organization, the following management team will be responsible for managing business activities, replacing the current executive officer system.
- Masahiko Yamada: Representative Director, President & CEO (In charge of Platform & Application BU and Technology Solution BU)
- Shigeki Komiyama: Director, EVP (In charge of Business Solution BU and Engineering Solution BU)
- Wataru Hasegawa: Director, EVP (CFO)
- Jeff Mandell: EVP (In charge of Creative BU and Consumer BU)
- Koji Shimoda: EVP (In charge of engineering & QA)
- Aaron Atkinson: EVP (Chief Information & Operation Officer)
- Tom Lam: EVP (In charge of China operation)
- Robert Marlinghaus: EVP (In charge of HR)
