Wacom Celebrates Valentine's Day

VANCOUVER, Wash., Feb.13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Join Wacom and special guest, artist Von Glitschka, today, February 13^th, from 8:30AM to 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time for a special Valentine's Day promotion over Wacom's social media channels - Facebook, Twitter and Google+ - that features hand-made Valentine's cards, drawn for free upon request by Glitschka. Famous for his 5-minute logo creations, Glitschka, armed with a Bamboo Stylus and Adobe Ideas, will be employing his speedy and whimsical drawing techniques to support those who seek help creating a virtual Valentine's card.

How does it work? Wacom is asking its social media followers to comment on its channels with the name of their loved one and a special interest they might have, using the hashtag, #LoveWacom.  For example, one could ask, "I would like to send a Valentine's card to my girlfriend who likes to ski. #LoveWacom. Von Glitschka will then take the request and put together a Valentine's drawing. Wacom's social media team will post the Valentine's on a Facebook album for the user to share with their Valentine. If the number of requests exceeds the production capabilities of Mr. Glitschka, Wacom's talented team of artists are prepared to chip in with some creations of their own should the need arise.
