VWR Showcases New 226,000 Square Foot Chemical Manufacturing Location
New Solon facility will streamline VWR's chemical production in Northeast Ohio
RADNOR, Pa., Aug. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- VWR (NASDAQ: VWR), the leading global independent provider of product and service solutions to laboratory and production customers, celebrated the opening of its Solon, Ohio manufacturing site. City officials and other distinguished attendees enjoyed a facility tour and the official plant opening.

Earlier this year, VWR had six locations spanning the Solon, Ohio area, totaling approximately 150,000 square feet. The operations from five of the locations will relocate to the new building this year, with the sixth moving in several years. The new building totals 226,000 square feet, providing additional space and facilitating greater collaboration between VWR's employees.

The Solon, Ohio location was established in 1976 under the AMRESCO brand.
