SEOUL, South Korea and SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vungle, the leading performance marketing platform for in-app video ads, has announced it has partnered with Kakao, a free mobile instant messaging application for smartphones, to support the Kakao Game Ad+ Service, Kakao's new business model of generating revenue from in-game advertisements. Under this new partnership, Vungle will enable Kakao to engage with active customer segments most likely to install; develop new video ads and interactive end cards designed to maximize conversion; and identify the right publishers for their customers.
When users watch an in-app video ad, they receive in-app rewards, which are proven to boost engagement and acquisition of high lifetime value (LTV) users. App developers can leverage the new partnership by simply applying the Ad+ software development kit (SDK) to their games in order to generate more revenue—or, in some cases, uncover entirely new revenue streams.
"In-app advertising presents a huge opportunity for mobile apps today, and we're thrilled to partner with Kakao to support its new endeavor," said Zain Jaffer, CEO of Vungle. "We look forward to helping Kakao drive high-value installs—users who are more engaged and likely to spend with the publisher—and optimize those ads and creatives to ultimately grow their revenue."
Vungle analyzes users' mobile device usage patterns to provide customized mobile ads to more than 500 million users every month. Globally recognized brands such as Google, P&G and Coca-Cola already leverage Vungle's premium video ad platform, creative and LTV optimization products to services. Additionally, Vungle Creative Labs consists of mobile video experts with years of experience who create, test and distribute partner videos that are customized for mobile devices and provide users with a cohesive and engaging experience.

"As a global advertisement company, we will continue to provide new and unique advertisement strategies to Korean companies that does not interfere with their customers' experiences."
Kate Park, manager of the Game Business Team at Kakao, said, "We're always exploring new revenue opportunities for our game partners. By working with Vungle to create mobile game-customized advertisement platforms, we're providing our partners a premium way to grow their businesses."
