VT Systems Adopts a Strengthened Corporate Brand Identity to Support Business Expansion
ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Vision Technologies Systems, Inc. (VT Systems), a company of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering), has adopted stronger brand identity for its operating companies. The implementation of this new brand identity and architecture was completed at the end of May 2014 after a year-long "back-to-basics" review and revamp.
The brand review, which started in early 2013, had two objectives: to align its branding to the global ST Engineering brand and to lend support to marketing efforts, particularly into new markets. This is increasingly important as VT Systems* is growing its business across the US, Latin America, and the Middle East, providing solutions to commercial and government customers in the aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine sectors.
VT Systems' 12 subsidiaries will, with their parent company, share the well-known sunburst logo of ST Engineering. This is intended to signal their part, with VT Systems, in the global ST Engineering family of companies. Associated companies and divisions will be branded as sub-units linked to their immediate VT Systems subsidiary.
This revised brand architecture both conforms to ST Engineering's brand policy and has naming and graphic design protocols to allow the brand to grow in tandem with business expansion and the formation of new entities in the future.
As part of the application of the revised identity, three of VT System's aerospace companies—ST Aerospace San Antonio, L.P.; ST Aerospace Mobile, Inc.; and DRB Aviation Consultants, Inc.—have been renamed, respectively, as
- VT San Antonio Aerospace, Inc.
- VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering, Inc.
- VT DRB Aviation Consultants, Inc.
A fourth subsidiary, Volant Aerospace, LLC, will be renamed VT Volant Aerospace, LLC at a later date.
"VT Systems is synonymous with quality engineering solutions and we have built a strong brand identity in the US market over the last decade. As a part of the global ST Engineering Group, it is important for us to present a unified brand to our expanding customer base. Hence, as we continue to grow our US and international footprint, rebranding of our US-based aerospace entities binds these very successful, distinct businesses into the same brand. This will project our presence more strongly to new customers and markets."
