Previously, Keilson was the Vice President and Senior Director of Creative's Business Development Division, which he led since 2009. During his tenure, the global development organization experienced unprecedented growth of new business.
Keilson has more than 30 years of experience in international education, exchange and development, including more than six years with Creative.
He started as a State Department Foreign Service Office and was posted to Mexico, Australia and Mauritania. Throughout his career in government and the private sector, Keilson has worked in more than 60 countries.

Keilson, whose avocation is public diplomacy, has published articles on the history and results of citizen diplomacy, training and exchange programs. He is a member of the Public Diplomacy Council and a Fellow with the Foreign Policy Association.
From 2003 to 2009, Keilson served on the Board of the National Council for International Visitors, an umbrella organization that supports global exchange and citizen diplomacy programs in 95 U.S. cities.
Keilson earned a Master's degree in U.S. History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.A. in History from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. He also currently teaches graduate courses in development management and international organizations at the American University's School of Public Affairs.
