Vox Mobile Salutes Innovators with Mobility Rockstar Awards
New Program Recognizes Business Leaders Who Use Mobile Technology to Change Industries
CLEVELAND, April 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vox Mobile, a leading enterprise mobility solutions provider, today announced the Mobility Rockstar award program, designed to recognize business leaders who are transforming their industry through the innovative use of mobile technology. All individuals and companies, that are changing the way their industry does business by using mobile solutions, are eligible for the new award.
"True Mobility Rockstars don't just adopt a mobile infrastructure – they innovate to deliver a better user experience and transform their industries," said Jim Haviland, Chief Strategy Officer at Vox Mobile. "Think back to how it used to be necessary to flag down cabs before we could summon a taxi with an app or standing in line at an airport counter to change a flight before you could take care of it from a mobile device. These kinds of transformations make lives better, and the Mobility Rockstars program aims to recognize the leaders who are making that happen."
Vox Mobile has already recognized two Mobility Rockstars: Chris Delong of Safelite Autoglass and Scott Hendrick of the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. In the coming months, Vox Mobile will recognize other Mobility Rockstars – innovators whose mobile-first approach to delivering service and managing relationships results in an exceptional customer experience. All Mobility Rockstars receive a customized gold record with the Mobility Rockstars logo to commemorate the achievement as well as recognition on the Vox Mobile website.
"Mobile devices have changed the way we live, and that's just as true in the business world as it is on the consumer side," said Kris Snyder, Vox Mobile CEO and Chairman of GEMA (Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance). "But the business leaders who are recognized as Mobility Rockstars go beyond simple mobile adoption by using mobile devices to ensure a positive customer experience and fundamentally change the way people access their services and products."
Potential Mobility Rockstars can nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues, customers or managers. Vox Mobile will review nominations and periodically announce the latest additions to the Mobility Rockstar Hall of Fame.
