Vox Mobile Included in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services Report for Second Consecutive Year
CLEVELAND, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vox Mobile, a leading enterprise mobility solutions provider, announced today that the company has been included in top industry analyst Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services (MMS), published July 24, 2014 report for the second consecutive year. Vox Mobile believes its inclusion signals the company's "completeness of vision" and "ability to execute," which is an evaluation criteria referenced in the MMS Magic Quadrant report at http://vxm.cc/_MQ14.
Gartner defines the MMS space as "IT and process services provided by an external service provider (ESP) that are required to plan, procure, provision, activate, manage and support mobile devices, network services, management systems, mobile applications and application stores." The analyst group includes the following devices in its MMS Magic Quadrant report: smartphones, tablets and field service equipment, focusing on both corporate-owned assets and user-owned devices operating under "bring your own device" (BYOD) programs.
To classify MMS providers, Gartner assesses delivery of "day-to-day IT management and support routines for mobility devices" as well as provision of "business process administration" services, which include "expense management, asset management and logistics, including recycling, return materials authorization management, ordering and provisioning the help desk."
Vox Mobile provides a comprehensive range of services to empower complete enterprise mobility, including Vox Architect, strategic consulting, technical, professional and advisory services to help clients build and execute their mobility blueprint; Vox Choice mobility management software to automate BYOD, ensure compliance, request management and enable financial reconciliation; Vox Deploy, scalable logistics, device imaging and user activation support; Vox Assist, global, 24/7 on-demand user support; Vox Admin, dedicated deep technical expertise in mobile security, MDM server setup, support and monitoring; and Vox Control, expert audit and optimization service to achieve transparency and control costs.
"This research provides corporate mobility buyers with a view of vendors that can manage globally distributed, enterprise-liable devices and BYOD users," noted Gartner analysts Eric Goodness, Gianluca Tramacere and Katja Ruud, who issued the most recent MMS Magic Quadrant report. "Over the past year, vendors have improved execution and vision to support corporate mobility for many small to large multinational companies."
Vox CEO and Chairman of GEMA (Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance), Kris Snyder, believes the influx of mobile devices into the workplace is changing the way companies do business worldwide and creating strong demand for the kind of Complete Enterprise Mobility Vox delivers. "We're gratified to be included in Gartner's Managed Mobility Services Magic Quadrant for the second straight year," says Snyder. "Our concept of "Connected Lives" guides our leadership and we're committed to continuing to provide the resources, know-how and support our customers need to succeed in this rapidly evolving technology environment."
