Vought Defense Systems Signs Contract to Acquire 100% Interest in Quality Performance, Inc.
DUNEDIN, Fla., April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vought Defense Systems Corporation. (Pink Sheets: VDSC), a provider of UAV systems and other solutions for the United States government, announced today that it has entered into a Contract to acquire 100% of the voting stock of Quality Performance, Inc., ("QPI"), a Fredericksburg, Virginia based company (www.goqpi.com). In 2009, QPI generated $9.2 million in revenue and $1.5 million in Operating Profit.
The transaction is subject to certain closing conditions including a financing and due diligence. Once all of the conditions are met, both parties anticipate closing the transaction in May 2010.
