The Hungry Jack Use Up the Box Recipe Contest promotes the unleashing of culinary creativity by inspiring delicious and easy-to-make family recipes in the following categories – Appetizers, Sweet Treats and Breakfast for Dinner.

Now through March 5, 2013, consumers are invited to vote for the best recipes and help to determine category winners. The creators of the winning recipe in each of the three categories will receive a check for $1,000 and the finalist with the highest number of votes will be crowned the grand prize winner and receive a year's worth of groceries, awarded as a check for $8,000. By voting, consumers will also be entered into a daily drawing for a chance to win a daily prize that includes a selection of Hungry Jack brand products (Approximate Retail Value: $34).
This year's finalists submitted recipes demonstrating food trends that continue to delight friends and family. Sweet and savory combinations, sauces with a kick and the unique flavor of bacon are all highlights from this year's group of online finalists.
