Vote For Leaders Of Distinction: Outstanding Leaders Of Dermatology Education And Research Awards To Be Presented At The 11th Annual Orlando Dermatology Aesthetic & Clinical Conference (ODAC)
NEW YORK, Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD) will be honoring dermatologists from all over the country at the ODAC conference in Orlando, Florida, January 16-19, 2015.

The JDD awards recognize outstanding leaders in dermatology education and research, the rising stars of dermatology who have distinguished themselves in their residency programs, and exceptional promoters of the dermatology industry and community. This year's nominations for the JDD Leaders of Distinction Awards were submitted by the JDD Editorial Board and select members of the dermatology community.
Some of this year's finalists:
- Zoe Draelos MD. Dr. Draelos has contributed chapters to 46 textbooks, served as the principal investigator on 430 studies, and written 321 papers. She is also the author of Cosmetics in Dermatology and Cosmeceuticals, including editions translated into five languages.
- Howard Maibach MD. Expert in contact and occupational dermatitis, Dr. Maibach specializes in dermatotoxicology, allergies and skin disorders, and dermatopharmacology, He was also the recipient of the 2013 "Master Dermatologist Award" by the American Academy of Dermatology.
- C. William Hanke MD. Dr. Hanke serves as the senior Vice President of the Skin Cancer Foundation and has received numerous awards for his achievements in dermatology. He has also contributed more than 300 articles, 104 book chapters, and 20 books to the medical literature.
- George Han MD PhD., Albert Einstein College of Medicine resident. Dr. Han, author of numerous original research articles in the fields of wound healing and nitric oxide physiology, has also achieved numerous awards during his dermatology residency.
- Candrice Rachelle Heath MD. Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai resident. Dr. Heath was elected to serve on the Student National Medical Association Board of Directors, participated in the NIH-NMA Academic Medicine Development Program, and excels in community involvement and leadership.
