Von Maur Credits Closing on Thanksgiving as Part of Holiday Success Strategy

DAVENPORT, Iowa, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Von Maur Department Store announced it will be closed on Thanksgiving to ensure employees can spend time with family and friends over the holiday. This announcement continues a more than 140-year-old tradition as the family-owned company encourages its employees to spend time with those closest to them.

All stores will close early Wednesday, November 25 at 4:00 p.m., will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and will re-open Friday, November 27 at 9:00 a.m. In addition, all Von Maur locations will close at 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and will remain closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
