Vocational Rehabilitation Providers Can Apply for $4.2 Million in Grants to Improve Employment Opportunities for Individuals With Disabilities
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Department of Labor & Industry is offering $4.2 million in grants fostering the development of new strategies and initiatives which will improve employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities.
Grant applications are due by June 11. Funding is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Successful applicants' proposals will implement innovative, local programs that will expand employment readiness programs, provide industry-integrated employment and training programs, and provide services for underserved and unserved populations who are eligible Office of Vocational Rehabilitation customers.
