Vocational Rehabilitation Providers Can Apply for $3 Million in Grants to Improve Employment Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Department of Labor & Industry is offering $3 million in grants to foster the development of job creation projects to improve employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities.
Grant applications are due by June 25. Funding is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
Successful applicants, in cooperation with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, will implement innovative programs that will expand employment opportunities and provide services for underserved populations who are OVR customers.
