Vme TV Commemorates the 50 Anniversary of JFK's Death
Kennedy legacy comes to life throughout the month of November in original Vme TV programs
MIAMI, Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Vme TV, the first and only Spanish-language public television network in the United States, will broadcast a series of special programming dedicated to the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. Throughout November, the channel will air three different series covering his political life, accomplishments, controversies and tragic death.

Los Kennedy
"Los Kennedy", an Emmy-winning mini series with an all-star cast that includes Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes, directed by Jon Cassar, focuses on the Kennedy family's political legacy and victories and defeats, both in the public sphere and in their personal lives. The saga begins on November 11, 2013 and will run through November 21, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET.
Especial JFK
"Especial JFK", a two-part special report produced by Vme TV and hosted by Mexican journalist Alonso Castillo, will transport viewers to Dallas, Texas, to the site of JFK's assassination for an inside look at the events of November 22, 1963. Revealing information and interesting facts will be highlighted throughout the program as they learn about the circumstances surrounding the president's death. The first of two parts will be transmitted on November 15, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET and the second on November 22, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET.
JFK 50 Anos
Direct from the files of the National Archives in Washington, D.C., an original production of Vme TV, "JFK 50 Anos" commemorates the 50-year anniversary of the death of JFK, through an hour-long program that recaps the happenings of the day's events along with the aftermath of JFK's assassination. This special program covers the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin, and his murder two days later by nightclub owner, Jack Ruby. The production will also include biographical facts and some of the most significant occurrences in history associated with President Kennedy, such as the 'Bay of Pigs', 'the Missile Crisis' and 'the Space Race'. "JFK 50 Anos" will air on November 22, 2013 at 10 p.m. ET.
