Vme Kids Celebrates Cinco de Mayo Family Style
Vme Kids and XFINITY Latino bring some family fun to Fresno and Visalia during the first weekend of May
MIAMI, April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vme Kids, America's first 24-hour, Spanish-language network broadcasting educational preschool programming, is teaming up with XFINITY Latino to bring community grassroots events and family fun to the Central California Valley during Fresno's annual Festival de Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, 2014, and to Visalia's Cinco de Mayo Parade and Festival on May 3, 2014.
Festival de Cinco de Mayo – Fresno
Families visiting Fresno's Fulton Mall from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. can come by and make memories with famous cartoon character Lunar Jim. Among the festivities, attendees will have the chance to experience typical Latino foods, musical acts and family-friendly activities. The free festival, which celebrates Mexican heritage and promotes Latino culture, has over 65,000 attendees each year.
Cinco de Mayo Parade and Festival - Visalia
In Visalia, families can enjoy posing for some photo booth excitement during the city's Cinco de Mayo Festival, which will be held in Garden Street Plaza on May 3, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. This year's theme is 'Sabor a Mexico' or 'Taste of Mexico', showcasing the Mexican culture through art, entertainment, food and performance.
